Semesta explores how to tell a story of students in 1990s Jakarta through objects and print design. The unconventional storytelling method aims to reveal the relationship between truth, representation, fiction, and the artist intentions. The physical objects of the installation explore representations of everyday objects in sculptural art forms—how to craft objects with embedded inherently non-explicit narratives.
